Step 2: Check the material type of the helmet
Is the fabric stretchable?
If the material of the helmet padding reaches the mounting surface, check the type and flexibility of the material. Try to lightly grip the fabric with two fingers and stretch it.
If the fabric is flat and can hardly or not at all be gripped and stretched, the mounting surface of your helmet is firm.
